Hundertwasser, photographed by Bernd Lötsch, on the occasion of a joint river walk in the floodplains of Hainburg, for whose preservation Hundertwasser had joined the protest movement in 1984. This joint venture gave rise to the idea of "freeing nature", which became a resounding success and raised almost 80 million schillings (5,8 Mio €) in one year to buy up acreage for the establishment of the Danube Floodplain National Park.
